A New Post Graduate Course in Pesticide Risk Management

In a joint initiative with FAO, the University of Capetown, South Africa (UCT) is developing a distance learning post graduate course in pesticide risk management.

The course will provide regulators with tools to evaluate new applications for registration of pesticides in their countries, based on effective risk assessment. The course will cover all the main stages of the pesticide life-cycle as defined by the Code.
